It´s official Sweetie´s Lefse LLC is open for business. The official launch took place during the Syttende Mai festivities May 13, 14 and 15 of 2011. Proprietor Beth Miller's brand new product, sweet potato lefse, takes the old tradition of lefse and gives it a new modern day twist. Not only is her lefse tasty, but it also has the benefit of being high in vitamin A, low in calories, and for those who are counting really low in carbs. Beth who is also known as the "Lefse Queen" was at be grilling, displaying, and providing samples of some of the many ways this new product can be used at local retailers in your area.
Sweetie's Lefse LLC has been out promoting her delicious Sweet Potato Lefse at the Fort Atkinson Farmers Market, the Cambridge Farmers market, and this season Sweetie's Lefse and Sweetie the "Lefse Queen" will be at the East Side Farmers Market promoting her delicious Sweet Popato Lefse every Tuesday from May 8, 2012 to October 9, 2012 between the hours of 4-7 p.m. at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center 953 Jenifer Street, Madison, WI 53703.
Sweetie´s Lefse LLC and Sweetie the "Lefse Queen" herself is once again going to be at the Syttende Mai. Sweetie (Beth) will be at the Nordic Nook Sunday from 10 to 1. Sweetie’s Lefse is available for sale at the Nordic Nook, and at any of these fine local retail stores.
